Set up iMessage for clickclick

Use your Apple Account to chat with clickclick from your iPhone.

With an Apple Account, you can connect iMessage to send and receive messages with clickclick from your iPhone or other iCloud-connected devices.

Each clickclick window will use a separate iCloud phone number or email tied to your Apple Account.

Set up Messages on your Mac with an Apple Account before using it with clickclick.

iMessage settings are found in the iCloud tab on the Configuration sheet.


Enable Messages in clickclick

iMessage must be enabled for each clickclick window.

Click the Configuration button and select the iCloud tab.

Enable Messages.


Assign an iCloud Identity to clickclick

clickclick will send messages from an iCloud contact tied to your Apple Account.

Select a phone number or email from the Send As dropdown.

clickclick will send messages from the iCloud contact you selected. You must assign a different iCloud contact for each clickclick window you want to message with.


Select an iCloud Contact that will Receive Messages

Select a contact from the Recipients dropdown.

clickclick will send messages to the iCloud contact you selected.

Messaging a group of recipients requires clickclick Unlocked.

Add a New Contact

You can chat with any phone number or email associated with an Apple Account.

  1. Click the Recipients dropdown and select Add Contact.

  2. Enter a Name and iMessage phone number or email.

  3. Click Add to save the new contact.

  4. Select the new contact from the Recipients dropdown.

Add an iCloud Contact

You can sync iCloud contacts to receive messages from clickclick.

  1. Click the Recipients dropdown and select Add Contact.

  2. Click Contacts and select the iCloud contacts you want to sync.


Using clickclick with a Single Apple Account

If you plan on using clickclick with iCloud contacts tied to a single Apple Account, you'll need a few extra steps to set that up.
