Getting Started with clickclick
Install clickclick, connect iMessage, set up your agents, and start your first chat.
clickclick is available exclusively for Mac.
clickclick is a personal AI agent that runs on your desktop. With an Apple Account, you can connect iMessage and chat privately from anywhere using end-to-end encryption.
Install clickclick
Download clickclick.
Double-click the file you downloaded to open the installer.
Drag the app to your Applications folder.
Open clickclick
On your keyboard, press shift + ⌘ to open Spotlight Search.
Search for clickclick and open the app.
Using the Setup Guide
You'll see the setup guide when you first open clickclick.
It lets you quickly setup iMessage, install agents, and assign a home folder.
To reopen the setup guide, click the More toolbar button and select Show Help.
Connect iMessage
Set up Messages on your Mac with an Apple Account before using it with clickclick.
clickclick can send messages from any phone number or email tied to your Apple Account.
- Select a phone number or email from the Send As dropdown.
Tip: This phone number/email must be different than the one you'll be using on your iPhone. It can be from the same Apple Account, but it cannot be the same identity.
- In the Recipients field, type the phone number or email where you will receive messages.
Connect Agents
clickclick connects to your favorite agents. You can use them directly without an extra subscription.
Only ChatGPT and Claude Code are currently supported.

Select a provider.

Click Install to install the provider's agent.

After installation completes, click Login to sign in with the provider.

Click Cancel to return to the setup guide.
Set a Home Project (Optional)
If you set a Home Project, clickclick will use this folder for general requests and as a place to store any documents it's working on.
Click the Choose Folder button and open the folder you want to use for your Home Project.
Start a New Chat
Click the New Chat toolbar button to start a new chat.
Click the clickclick Model Settings to edit the Model.
Type a message and click the Send button to start chatting.
